We are pleased to invite you to the International Symposium on Economics, Finance and Econometrics (ISEFE 2022) to be held in Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Canakkale, Turkey on June 18-19, 2022.
The symposium is organized by the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Political Sciences and the Data Analysis Application and Research Center of Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
The symposium aims at bringing together international researchers to present and discuss their researches and ideas, and create a research network for future joint collaborations.
We expect both theoretical and empirical submissions from a wide range of topics such as Economics, Finance and Econometrics.
The languages of the symposium are both Turkish and English.

The main theme of the symposium is “Digital Economy”. The world as we know it is continually changing, and one of the fundamental drivers is digital transformation. At its core, digital transformation isn’t about Internet “unicorns.” It’s about using the latest technology to do what you already do – but better. The global economy is undergoing a digital transformation as well, and it’s happening at breakneck speed.

The digital economy is the economic activity that results from billions of everyday online connections among people, businesses, devices, data, and processes. The backbone of the digital economy is hyperconnectivity which means growing interconnectedness of people, organizations, and machines that results from the Internet, mobile technology and the internet of things (IoT).

The digital economy is taking shape and undermining conventional notions about how businesses are structured; how firms interact; and how consumers obtain services, information, and goods.
